A small village cricket club located 5 miles south west of Malton and 15 miles north east of York in beautiful surroundings on the edge of the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We are a very friendly and sociable team, always on the look out for fresh talent. The club has a strong culture in developing young people in cricket and general sport and fitness

Over recent years the club has developed the facilities with a fantastic new pavilion, score box, electronic scoreboard, practice nets and landscaped field. We are very proud of our achievements.

Records show there has been a club in the village for around 140 years.

There are currently 4 teams; Saturday in the Yorkshire Premier League North Div 3, Wednesday in the Foss Evening League, Thursdays in the Ryedale Beckett League and most recently on Friday evenings, the Under 11s side in Derwent Valley Junior Cricket League.

Our ethos for the club is community based with majority of the players coming from the surroundings villages and the farming community. The club is run by volunteers who give their time to aid the day to day running of club from the bar to the preparing of the ground for games.
Our pavilion is used for many purposes not just providing wonderful facilities for cricket and the pétanque club but also for local events, clubs, parties, and the very popular cake and coffee mornings on a weekend and our monthly Sunday breakfast club.
